It’s a pet hate of mine… simply slashing calories over and over isn’t the magic solution to fat loss in your 40 plus years 🚨

Sure, a calorie deficit is needed, but if you keep cutting and cutting, your metabolism adapts—which means you’ll need to eat less and less just to maintain, let alone lose weight. Not fun, right? 😬

Instead, here’s what actually works ⬇️
✔️ Fueling workouts properly (hello, carbs around training 🍞🍚)
✔️ Hitting your actual protein needs 🥩🍳
✔️ Getting at least 30g fibre daily 🥦🥑
✔️ Doing the right training (not endless long runs 🏃‍♀️)
✔️ Prioritising sleep & stress management 😴🧘‍♀️

L-Theanine—the secret weapon hiding in your tea 🍵☕️

This amino acid is a non protein amino acid, so it’s not used as a building block for protein, but it does help with:

✅ Relaxation without drowsiness
✅ Enhancing focus & attention (great for study or high-stress days!)
✅ Reducing stress & anxiety (200-400mg is the sweet spot)
✅ Helping with sleep and can minimise effects of caffeine. Or after a sneaky espresso in the evening 🙈
